Mission: To create and foster a learning environment that enables participants to be leaders in international business with sensitivity towards society.

About DAA

IIFT alumni hold important positions in corporations across the globe, and the Division of Alumni Affairs (DAA) is engaged in developing a strong and active network of these cherished former students.  IIFT graduates have achieved success in diverse fields and hold positions of responsibility and influence as distinguished corporate leaders, pioneering entrepreneurs, eminent academicians, and inspirational leaders. The division seeks to foster life-long intellectual and emotional bonding between the institute and its alumni, and to provide the current students at the institute an opportunity to connect with the alumni across the globe. This division also facilitates a common platform for professional networking and business, career development, and sustained learning opportunities. The focus of the division is to offer a platform for the alumni to connect with their alma mater and contribute to enhancing the legacy of IIFT.

The Alumni Relations Committee (ARC) is a student body that functions under the division of Alumni Affairs and is responsible for organizing all the events and interactions under the guidance of the Division. ARC is responsible for organizing guest lectures, assisting in the career mentorship program, maintaining Alumni database, publishing the quarterly magazine 'Aluminati' and keeping everyone updated through the official social media handles. The committee hosts several events throughout the year, ranging from Chapter Meets in various cities, the 10-year reunion, the Silver Jubilee Celebrations as well as The Grand Alumni Reunion, one of the most awaited events of the year.

7. Annual Events:

Grand Alumni Reunion

The GAR is an annual homecoming event for the alumni across the batches. It gives them a chance to be back on campus at Delhi and spend a gala evening, interacting with the current students and faculty while reminiscing about their memories of the time spent at IIFT with their batch mates.  Photo montage from https://alumni.iift.edu/albums/photos/76423.dz

Other Activities:

Alumni across the globe have delivered Guest Lectures, and the students have benefitted immensely from the practical knowledge brought by the industry stalwarts and entrepreneurs alike.

"Tarang", the Alumni video podcast series, hosts Alumni for exclusive interviews to learn from their experience and take a walk down the memory lane for the times spent by the Alumni in the institute. The video series is hosted on the official YouTube channel of IIFT Alumni and the topics revolve around leadership, career highlights, entrepreneurship, and insights into their respective domains. Beyond - The Performance Talks under the banner of Tarang is our attempt to bring forth trends in various businesses and domains through the high-performance stories of our alumni. These lively interactions aim to bridge the gap between academic knowledge and real world experience whilst strengthening the bond between alumni and the current batch.
