About the Program

Since the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade, New Delhi is the Central training institute for the training program for ITS Probationers, hence the ITS Professional Development Program for Probationary Officers at the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) is specifically designed to equip newly appointed Trade Officers with the essential skills and knowledge required for effective performance in their roles. This foundational program aims to build a strong base in international trade practices, export-import procedures, trade policies, and diplomatic engagement.

Through a combination of interactive sessions, case studies, and hands-on training delivered by IIFT’s expert faculty, probationary officers gain a comprehensive understanding of India’s global trade environment.
