Has more than two decades of teaching experience in the field of finance with specialisation in Financial Accounting and Control and Financial Services. Before joining IIFT, Jacqueline Symss was associated with the Department of Commerce at the University College of Commerce and Business Management, Osmania University, Hyderabad as a research fellow for four years and thereafter on completing her Ph.D had a short stint of one year as an academic consultant at the Department, teaching postgraduate students in Commerce. Soon after completing her Post Graduation and just prior to enrolling for her research, she worked as a full-time lecturer at a private degree college in Hyderabad for about a year, teaching undergraduate students in commerce.
Has also handled several academic and administrative assignments at IIFT which includes programme directorship for executive, masters and certificate courses at IIFT. Have been part of the team which successfully completed and secured the AACSB accrediation for IIFT in November 2021. I have also been part of several research project teams that worked on research projects related to enhancing export businesses for various sectors in India.
