Empirical Issues in International Trade & Finance (EIITF)

The Empirical Issues in International Trade & Finance (EIITF), is held biannually at IIFT Kolkata Campus, has emerged as a watershed moment in the region's trade and investment calendar. The most recent edition, EIITF 2024, provided a vibrant venue for exploring potential in India and beyond, with participation from trade experts, and industry stakeholders. The event included panel discussions on regional economic integration, sustainable trade practices, and growing market prospects, as well as sector-specific displays. These engagements enabled entrepreneurs, exporters, and investors to form significant collaborations while investigating strategic investment opportunities. IIFT Kolkata's leadership ensured that the discussions were not only grounded in current policy and market realities, but also forward-thinking, providing concrete recommendations for government agencies, trade groups, and industry stakeholders. INDAM (2025)

In January 2025, IIFT Kolkata proudly held the 10th Indian Academy of Management (INDAM) Conference, themed "Reminiscence of Time-Tested Management Concepts: Acceptance, Adaptation, Advancement." Over four days, the campus gathered eminent academicians, researchers, and practitioners from India and outside to offer their perspectives on emerging management techniques in a fast-changing global landscape. With over 300 paper submissions and 256 talks across 12 subject tracks, the conference provided a comprehensive look at current themes such as leadership, sustainability, digital transformation, and entrepreneurship. The pre-conference Doctoral Colloquium and specialist methodological seminars, held in partnership with the Consortium for Advanced Research Methods and Analysis (CARMA), offered early-career researchers with vital mentorship and research skills. The curriculum was enriched by keynote lectures from famous international academics, plenary debates on great global concerns, and policy and industrial panel sessions, resulting in a truly multidimensional learning experience. INDAM 2025 confirmed IIFT Kolkata's position as a renowned university dedicated to high-quality research, global collaboration, and effective conversation that connects academia and industry.
