About the Program

The Directorate General of Resettlement (DGR) is a key government organization responsible for facilitating the resettlement and rehabilitation of armed forces personnel transitioning to civilian life. In collaboration with institutions like the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT), DGR designs and implements skill development and management training programs that prepare ex-servicemen for successful careers in various sectors.

IIFT, through its specialized Management Development Programs and customized training modules, supports DGR’s mission by equipping retired defense personnel with the knowledge, skills, and competencies necessary to excel in corporate, entrepreneurial, and administrative roles. These programs focus on enhancing employability, promoting entrepreneurship, and ensuring smooth integration into the civilian workforce.
